Branding and logo design for Continuüm, the 100th anniversary (Centenary) of A.R.S.R. “Skadi”, Student Rowing Club in Rotterdam, NL.
The theme ‘Continuüm’ - an uninterrupted whole in which individual parts gradually merge into one another, without clear boundaries or interruptions - reflects Skadi’s continuous evolution throughout the past 100 years: traditions and generations blend together, both in and outside the water.
The visual identity contains an abstract and playful logo derived from the number 100, combined with gradients and geometric forms that symbolise the passage of time and continuity. Throughout the 100th anniversary year, there are multiple events to celebrate this milestone. Each event received its own combination of colours,shapes and icons, creating a flexible visual system that connecs to an overarching visual identity.
